US indicators in the Green Zone await Federal decision
Investors are patiently awaiting Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's announcement of the interest rate decision after the Federal Open Market Committee meeting on Wednesday. Federal interest rates are expected to remain neutral with a consensus of 2.375 per cent.

The Fed's statement and expectations as well as Paul's press conference are likely to be on the spotlight on Wednesday amid a otherwise quiet day on the US economic front.

The FOMC meeting is expected to be announced at 2:00 pm ET, usually covering the Federal Reserve's GDP forecast, PPI and civilian unemployment rate. The Federal Reserve Chairman's press conference is scheduled for 2 pm Eastern Time

US indices open higher today
Dow Jones futures opened 24.00 points, S & P 500 futures rose 1.50 points, and the Nasdaq 100 futures gained 5.50 points.

Key indexes in the US ended Tuesday's session on declines. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 9.47 points, or 0.1 percent, to 7,723.95. The Dow fell 26.72 points, or 0.1 percent, to 25,887.38. The S & P 500 fell 0.37 points, or less than 10 percent, to 2832.57.

Oil awaiting the announcement of the Energy Information Administration
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) report or the Energy Information Report of the Energy Information Administration will be published this week at 10:30 am ET. In the previous week, crude oil inventories fell 3.9 million barrels and gasoline stocks fell 4.6 million barrels.
